Who doesn't love STRIPES!

I am totally drawn to stripes....and find that they oddly go with almost everything? 

Anyone else feel this way?

Ok so I'm havin' a little trouble with blogger today~ and I hear I'm not alone, so bear with any format funkiness. 

This last image is such a struggle, I have tried and tried again to group many of my pillows together, and wow is that tricky! Too much back round noise, not the right light, not the right furniture....

A work in progress... any suggestions?

Hi there, and happy Wednesday to you~

I had a thrilling day yesterday because of this (I never win anything), and also because I made my first sale in my new shop, Telling Stories

For quite some time I have put some hard work into opening another  Etsy shop, for my photographs and artwork. I have been going at it for a while slowly, and keeping it low key, it's very personal, as photography means a great deal to me and I wanted the shop to be just what I wanted it to be before I started talking about it. I still feel as though I need to tweak a few things and work on the listings, and explaining some of my art work. But.... it truly put a smile on my face to have sold an image, and look forward to Telling Stories future.

On a more personal note~ it's been a rough month and doing my best to keep my chin up, it sincerely means a great deal to me to read your thoughtful and positive comments,  such a generous community, so a great big Thank you to you. Cheers!

Overkill by Colin Hay ( the acoustic version ) popped up on Pandora this morning, gave me a little inspiration. Feeling a little draggy, I think the time change has finally caught up with the family, that and I think we're not quite used to so much outdoor activity.

Spring Fever

Hi there, I was hoping to get this post in yesterday~ but this 60 degree weather is distracting to say the least. I know it won't last long, so me and the lulu's (and everyone else in my neighborhood) have been living outside and experiencing life without a parka on, NICE!

I do believe that this just might be an awesome birthday present~ to myself :)

I first heard about Epiphanie Camera Bags on the Shutter Sisters site, an super smart idea that provides the ladies with a stylish bag to carry around camera equiptment, GENIUS!

Years ago when I worked as a photojournalist I used the standard huge Domke bag and our relationship was hateful, just awkward and cumbersome. In recent years I have adapted a laptop back pack with handmade foam pockets and although it's still heavy at least it's on my back. This would be a nice transition away from a bag that screams " steal me I'm full of camera equiptment".

Hello- hope you had an enjoyable weekend~ the weather finally let up a bit here, and it was a balmy 48! Now my back yard is a complete mud pit, fun

for the kiddo's not so much for me.
