Hello, and happy Monday to you. How was your weekend, do anything fun? Me... got to try something I've never done before, shovel my roof~ jealous aren't you. I would say that task is the equivalent of having to date as a 40 yr old single mom. Unavoidable and extremely terrifying... all at the same time.
On a fun note...spent some time in New Haven, walked around Yale, looked at some art. Marveled at how people in the city can find parking given that the meters are covered in snow and half the road is gone, shocked we found a spot and didn't get a ticket.
About those Polaroids the set above was taken with an SX-70 and 100 Color (push) film from the Impossible Project. This is the second pack used and does tend to lean more to pink, which is a fantastic ghost effect, more important I've learned to tape a card (darkslide) to block the light as the image ejects, makes a huge impact. For a while now I have been "collecting" Polaroid camera's...thrift stores around here are always carrying a few and I have managed to find 6 different models...if you are looking for a 600 let me know in the comments, they run around $3.99 *!*. So coming up this week, yes more snow, so yea more pictures of snow. More Polaroids and films and cameras...and perhaps a little music.
Thanks for stopping by.... I sincerely appreciate your comments...if you have any polaroids to share leave a link~ Cheers!

Wow, that pink looks great in these shots! Remember I had some film but not a camera to fit? I found a camera in my basement and the film fit. So I took a couple and it is clear that the film is no good. Not even in a cool way as in the color is off or something like that, but rather in a it must have fallen in a pool of water way. Big sections of mustard yellow where no image prints at all. I'm still trying to find a way to make it look cool. Fingers crossed.
